MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to provide a loving, home like and supporting atmosphere.

Our mission is to provide an adequate and well-trained staff of professional and auxiliary employees.

We believe the quality of life for every human being is dependent upon the resident’s physical, social, mental, spiritual, and emotional welfare; each aspect a part of and inseparable from the others.

We believe in the worth of every individual and that each is unique with his own particular strengths and needs.

We believe in life as a process of development, including the aged years with their own purpose for growth.

We believe in promoting and providing for such growth, and the development of each resident to his fullest potential according to his special strengths and limitations, and with respect for his right to self-determination.

PHILOSOPHY

We believe in the dignity and worth of each individual, regardless of age, disability, race, color, creed, national origin, gender or financial status.

We believe that each person has the right to retain and enhance his personal identity.

We believe that each person should be encouraged to retain or regain his independence.

We believe that the medical, social, physical, psychological and spiritual needs of each person should be fulfilled.
Marian Manor HealthCare Center believes that to promote the dignity and highest practicable physical, mental, and psychological well-being of residents of nursing facilities, restraints should only be considered when the protocol of the interdisciplinary health care team determines that restraint use will enhance the resident’s quality of care and quality of life or when the need for restraints clearly outweighs the resident’s right to be free from restraints and the risks of restraint use.

Marian Manor HealthCare Center further believes that it should be the goal of the entire health care continuum to assure the appropriate use of physical and chemical restraints and pledges to work with other sections of the health care network to assure appropriate use in all setting.
