In today’s healthcare system, hospital stays are shorter, often leading to the need for an interim level of care upon discharge and prior to returning to home. Marian Manor HealthCare offers that interim setting by providing a comprehensive array of therapeutic interventions designed to restore participants to their optimal level of functioning and independence. For those residents who require long term skilled nursing care, our welcome environment provides a clean and comfortable home as well.
Marian Manor offers family atmosphere with respect for each resident’s dignity and individuality. Each of our residents is a member of our family, with unique strengths and needs. Our accomplished and professional nursing staff comprised of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nurse Assistants, and Certified Nurse Assistant Helpers take great pride in the 24-hour a day care rendered to our residents with kindness and compassion. Our staff has the necessary skills and experience to treat a wide variety of illnesses, disabilities and health concerns. They adhere to the highest professional practice standards to create an atmosphere of trust, stability and security for each resident. Our Nursing Department is totally computerized to allow us more time with residents and superior documentation with many safety controls regarding medication and treatment administration. The Interdisciplinary HealthCare Team is an integral part of the nursing care provided for the residents. The team consists of representatives from Nursing, Social Services, Activities, Dietary and Therapy. The team performs a comprehensive assessment on admission and then quarterly to develop a plan of care based on the residents needs. We encourage the attendance and participation of the resident and families at the care plan meetings. Our goal is to keep each resident at her/his highest level of functioning and to promote as much as possible the residents independence. Each nursing unit has a Resident Care Coordinator, who is a Registered
Nurse, who develops and coordinates the resident’s plan of care
with the other departments and outside medical staff. There is also a
specific charge nurse dedicated to each unit to administer the hands on
medical needs of the residents. BACK TO TOP
