Marian Manor HealthCare Center was notified by the ND Department of Health that all remaining COVID tests were negative for residents and staff. A special thanks to everyone for their prayers and thoughts.
Currently, Marian Manor HealthCare Center is waiting for notice from the ND Health Department to reschedule the COVID testing for residents and staff. This testing is vital to make sure everyone is healthy and to continue to keep our facility COVID-free. If any staff would be found to be asymptomatic with a positive COVID test, the following steps are in place and are in addition to other current infection prevention measures. Residents who can tolerate a mask are wearing them if they need to leave their room. All activities are provided in resident rooms or in the hallways. With community businesses opening, we are encouraging staff to continue to make smart decisions by avoiding crowds, maintaining safe distancing and frequent hand hygiene. Families and loved ones are reminded to call Michelle our Social Worker at 701-348-3107 to schedule a visit with a resident by phone, Face time, Skype or even to visit through a window. On April 22, kids from the Doll House Daycare also stopped by to decorate the sidewalk with chalk entertaining the residents as they looked out the activity windows.
As a result of our COVID -19 testing on May 8th, one resident has been tested positive for COVID-19. The resident’s family has been notified. Other results are still pending and may not be known for several days. We are in contact with the ND Department of Health and are following their guidance and recommendations to keep the residents and staff safe.Spring Visitation:
