New Addition of Basic Care Services

Marian Manor Healthcare Center announces the offering of basic care services.

A basic care 6 bed unit is now open at the Marian Manor Healthcare Center. Basic care provides that
intermediate level of care similar to assisted living for those individuals who don’t need the 24 hours
care providing at a nursing home but are unable to live independently in the community. Basic Care
provides a more independent environment which including meals, housekeeping, and laundry services
and may include recreational and therapeutic activities. Personal and nursing services would depend on
what an individual needs and can include minimal assistance with tasks such as bathing, medication
management, insulin testing, or simply getting ready in the morning. The basic care fee is also eligible
for Medicaid and private pay.
